Dr. Anthony Pottinger

Anthony Pottinger received his BSc in Tropical Agriculture 1982 UWI St. Augustine, Trinidad. After working as a farm manager for 2 years in Trinidad, he started medicine at UWI Mona in 1984 and received his bachelor of medicine and surgery degree in 1989. He then worked in various departments in Trinidad particularly in Obs & Gynae and general surgery for 5 years.

In July 1994 he migrated to the U.K. and obtained membership into the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology May 1996. He then worked in various gynae-oncology departments in Liverpool U.K. for two years before spending his last two years in the U.K. at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Newcastle as Specialist Registrar in Gynae-oncology. Since 2000 he has worked privately as a Consultant Gyna-oncologist in Trinidad and Tobago.
